Terms of service
The agreement between you and riblinked. Last updated 15 October 2026.
The forms on this site do not yet transmit anything, and no accounts can be created. Until registration is connected, clause 6 does not describe a service you can actually use. The rest of the document is written to be the real agreement once that changes. See the privacy policy for what the forms do today.
1. Who these terms are between
“riblinked” is a dating service operated by the riblinked operating entity (“we”, “us”). Our office is at 834 Prospect Pl, Brooklyn, NY 11216, United States, and we can be reached on +1 718 778 0996 or at support@riblinked.com.
By creating an account, or by using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the service.
2. You must be 18 or over
riblinked is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or to use any part of the service that requires one. We ask for your date of birth when you register and we check it.
If we find out that an account belongs to somebody under 18, we will close it and delete the personal data associated with it. If you believe a member is under 18, tell us at safety@riblinked.com and we will look at it.
3. Your account
You are responsible for what happens through your account. Keep your password to yourself, do not share your login with anybody, and tell us promptly if you think somebody else has got into it.
Do not create an account for anybody but yourself. Do not create a second account to get around a suspension. Do not impersonate another person, and do not use somebody else's photographs as your own.
4. What you may not do
You agree not to use riblinked to:
- break the law, or to plan or encourage anything unlawful;
- harass, threaten, stalk, defame or intimidate anybody;
- post content that is sexually explicit, hateful, or that depicts violence;
- ask anybody for money, or offer anything that looks like a financial opportunity, investment or loan;
- advertise, solicit business, or promote anything, including by posting links;
- collect information about other members, including by scraping or exporting it;
- post anybody else's personal information, including their address, phone number, workplace or private photographs;
- use bots, scripts or automated tools to interact with the service or to create accounts;
- attempt to interfere with the security or operation of the service, or to access parts of it you have not been given access to.
5. Our role, and what we do not check
riblinked is a place where adults can find each other. We are not a party to anything that happens between members, and we do not act as an intermediary, agent or guarantor for any member.
We do not verify the identity of members, we do not run criminal record checks, and we do not interview anybody before they join. Profiles are written by the members themselves and we take them at face value. You should treat every profile as a stranger's account of themselves. Our safety page explains what we do check and gives practical guidance before you meet anyone.
6. What it costs
Creating an account, writing a profile, browsing and being found are free. We do not ask for payment details when you register.
We may in future offer features that cost money. If we do, the price and what it covers will be shown clearly before you are asked to pay, you will not be charged without your active agreement, and content you have already written will not be made inaccessible to you as a result. Any subscription will be cancellable, and we will say how, on the page where you bought it.
7. Content you post
You keep the rights in the content you post — your text and your photographs remain yours. By posting it you give us permission to host, store, copy and display it, and to show it to other members, as far as is necessary to run the service. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies that are in backups, which are overwritten on their normal cycle.
You confirm that you have the right to post what you post, and that it does not infringe anybody else's rights.
8. Ending your account, and suspension
You can delete your account at any time, from your account settings, without giving a reason. When you do, your profile stops being visible immediately.
We may suspend or close an account if we reasonably believe these terms have been broken, if we are required to by law, or if the account is being used in a way that puts other members at risk. Where it is practical to do so, we will tell you why.
9. The service is provided as it is
We try to keep riblinked running and free of faults, but we do not promise that it will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not promise that you will meet anybody. Dating is not a service with a guaranteed outcome, and a site that promises you one is misleading you.
We are not responsible for the conduct of members, whether online or in person. What we are responsible for is acting on reports, which we do — see clause 5 and our safety page.
10. Limits on our liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for loss of profit or opportunity, or for anything that happens between you and another member.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited. If you are a consumer, you keep the full protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, and nothing here takes that away from you.
11. Complaints and disputes
If you have a complaint, write to support@riblinked.com or use the contact page, and say what you would like us to do. We will answer within a reasonable time and tell you what we have decided.
If you are unhappy with our answer and you live in the United Kingdom, you may be able to use an alternative dispute resolution provider; we are not obliged to participate in one, and we will tell you if we are willing to. If you live in the European Union, you may also contact your national consumer body.
12. Which law applies
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. Our office in the United States does not change that.
If you are a consumer living elsewhere, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory rules of the law of your own country of residence, and you may bring proceedings in your local courts where the law allows it.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If we make a change that materially affects your rights, we will tell you in advance by email or by a notice on the site, and give you a reasonable chance to close your account if you do not agree. The date at the top of this page always shows the current version.
